Insert the Test Strip Take one test strip from the box. Insert the strip into the glucometer’s test strip slot. The meter will automatically turn on and get ready to test. Prepare the Lancing Device Attach a lancet to the lancing device. Adjust the depth of the lancing device to suit your comfort level. Gently prick the side of your fingertip with the lancing device to draw a small drop of blood. Apply the Blood Sample Touch the blood drop to the tip of the test strip. The glucometer will begin the testing process. Wait for the Result In just 8 seconds, the meter will display your blood glucose reading. Dispose of the Used Strip Once the result is displayed, safely eject the used test strip from the meter. Dispose of the test strip and lancet in a proper disposal container.
