Prepare the Meter and Strips:

Insert a new test strip into the meter. The strip should only go in one way.
Wash Your Hands:

Clean your hands with soap and water, then dry them thoroughly.
Prepare the Lancing Device:

Insert a clean lancet into the lancing device.
Adjust the device to a comfortable depth for your skin type (usually 2 or 3).
Prick Your Finger:

Hold the lancing device against the side of your fingertip.
Press the button to release the lancet and prick your finger.
Apply Blood to the Test Strip:

Gently squeeze your fingertip to get a drop of blood.
Place the drop of blood on the edge of the test strip in the meter.
Make sure the blood covers the entire sample area of the strip.
Wait for the Result:

The meter will display your blood glucose level in a few seconds.
Record the Result:

The meter will show your blood glucose reading. You can track this result in the meter’s memory, which stores results for up to 90 days.
Re-dose (if needed):

If you didn’t apply enough blood, the meter will alert you. You can re-dose within 10 seconds using the same strip.
Dispose of the Lancet and Test Strip:

Safely dispose of the used lancet and test strip in a proper sharps container.
Clean the Meter:

Wipe the meter with a clean, dry cloth after use.
